Independent Living Program
This program focuses on developing and maintaining independent living skills, as well as social and vocational skills which are essential for leading productive and gratifying lives.
Clients learn daily living skills such as housekeeping, healthy menu planning, cooking, shopping, money management, personal care, and safety awareness.
Independent Living clients work with staff one-on-one as well as in group activities. Clients are provided with services Monday through Saturday which may include multiple home visits per week. Staff will provide transportation to and from ATW activities, work, and any appointments required. Clients also have access to 24-hour emergency on-call service from ATW staff.
Social Network Program
This program focuses on enabling individuals to become more socially independent by enhancing their socialization skills through peer interaction and group activities.
These skills are enhanced through recreational activities, crafts, cooking, computer skills, discussion groups, and other non-academic programs.
